Some big news as yet another academy team has decided to disband with the latest being Gen.G Esports. The academy team of the Seoul Dynasty revealed they are disbanding and all players and staff have been released.
Gen.G Esports have been around since 2018 and saw their best success throughout 2019 and 2020. Sadly, the roster had a very rough 2021 year finishing in last place during Season 1 of Overwatch Contenders: Korea and being relegated to Contenders Trials. In those three days of Trials, the team still finished in last place
