Mojang has announced that the Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta will come out the same day that Windows 10 is available. It will be free for those of you that have purchased the regular PC Version of Minecraft. If you have not, the price is only $10 to join in with your Xbox Live friends. Yes, meaning the PC players will be able to cross-platform with Xbox One users. The $10 price is noted as a discounted price, so possibly expect it to go up after the official release. Also the Minecraft: Pocket Edition will be able to jump into games through local multiplayer, though not much information has been given about that. You will have at least 7 other Minecraft players on at one time making the total 8 if you count yourself. You will be able to swap between Controller, Keyboard, and Touch controls with little effort which will come in handy. Another major feature is built in Game DVR. This will of course allow for you to record clips of your favorite moments. I personally am looking forward to this and I am sure many of you are as well. Please feel free to discuss this in the comments as I would love to hear what you all are thinking about the cross-platform capabilities.
