Studio Developing Moon Patrol for Intellivision Amico Found To Have Been Liquidated Last Year

The Intellivision Amico has had one of the more interesting sagas we have experienced in the gaming world for quite some time and now it seems that ToeJam and Earl wasn’t the only anticipated game for the console that will likely not come to fruition.

Thanks to a new video uploaded to YouTube by The Geek Getaway, we have learned that independent game studio WastedStudios, the studio who were developing Moon Patrol for the Intellivision Amico, were liquidated back in July 2021 according to North Data. Documents show that these proceedings were opened by the Munich District Court on July 1, 2021 which ultimately resulted in the studio being dissolved.

While it is still possible that the game could ultimately see a release for something down the road, it will not be from WastedStudios.
