The San Francisco Shock have announced they have parted ways with four members of their roster. Those members being Colin “Coluge” Arai, Samuel “s9mm” Santos, Kwon “Striker” Nam-joo, and Michael “mikeyy” Konicki. Each of these members joined the team throughout 2022 with Striker only being with the team since late September.
The Shock went into the 2022 season of the Overwatch League to much fanfare with many expected them to be at or near the top of the standing come seasons end. They did not disappoint as the team finished 2nd overall at the end of the regular season and made it all the way to the Grand Finals where they lost to the Dallas Fuel.
