Rumor: T-Mobile Pulls Sponsorships From Overwatch League and Call of Duty League

Rumors have started to circulate that wireless network company T-Mobile have pulled their sponsorship with both the Call of Duty League and the Overwatch League. It’s believed this is in direct relation to the lawsuit filed by California Department of Fair Employment and Housing against Activision Blizzard.

Theo Salaun of Dexerto noticed that their name was removed from the “Partners” page of both the Overwatch League and Call of Duty League’s official websites. Salaun even notes that T-Mobile was even listed as recently as July 21 on Call of Duty League’s site. Fans even noticed that the New York Subliners and other teams had the T-Mobile logo covered on their jerseys at Stage 5 Major this past weekend in Arlington.

Activision Blizzard nor T-Mobile have commented on the matter publicly.
