North And Splyce Join World Esports Association

The World Esports Association (WESA) have announced that both Splyce and North have joined the team association. This makes the total number of teams associated with the organization to 13. Other teams that are apart of the WESA include  Fnatic, G2 Esports, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team EnVyUs, mousesports, Natus Vincere, Renegades, Virtus Pro, SK Gaming, FaZe Clan, and OpTic Gaming.

Ken Hershman, Commissioner of WESA, said in a statement..

“Bringing in two more teams that affiliate with a leading traditional sports franchise increases our ability to both develop and build out our esports offerings, as well as move the industry forward in new and exciting ways. These organizations know the importance of structure and order in an industry, and will aid WESA’s mission to solidify these facets within our own.”

While most teams associated with the WESA, Splyce are one of the only North American teams that are apart of the organization. This means we could see other North American CSGO teams join as well in the near future.
