GameStop Receives Huge Backlash After Announcing Auto Renewal For Pro Cards

Several GameStop associates have taken the the GameStop subreddit noting that there was a huge backlash among employees at their annual GameStop Expo. It was said that when a guest renews or signs up for a Pro Card and they use a card payment, they will be set to automatically renew once it expires after a year.

One manager in a different post said:

Hell, they couldn’t even tell us about the change to auto renew for pro cards in a general session. Instead they put it in the barely functioning expo.

Others have noted that did not make mention to things that have been a hot topic among current and former GameStop associates for several years now including hours, compensation, and additional employees.
