As first reported by Decrypt, GameStop will be shutting down their NFT marketplace effective February 2. The company noted that the main reason for this decision was “due to the continuing regulatory uncertainty of the crypto space.”
GameStop launched their NFT marketplace back in July 2022 after spending millions on the development of this marketplace. Unfortunately the company make very little in daily income through this marketplace and even shut down the GameStop Wallet in August 2023.
