Dragon Quest Producer Stepping Down, Moving To Mobile Games

According to a new report by Bloomberg, Yu Miyake will be stepping down from his position as Executive Producer of Dragon Quest and move to head mobile games within Square Enix.

Multiple sources for Bloomberg have not only confirmed this change, but it was directly related to Square Enix’s frustration from Dragon Quest XII being delayed multiple times.

While there has been no direct replacement for Miyake’s position, rumors are that it could go to Yosuke Saito who is currently the producer of the NieR franchise.
