Future Hit With Layoffs

As first reported on by GamesIndustry.biz, U.K.-based media company Future have announced a series of layoffs across multiple areas of their publication. This seems that have primarily been done to editorial staff in on their gaming and tech outlets including Android Central, Windows Central, and TechRadar Gaming.

This seems that upset many not just in the journalism world, but in the ongoing view on company ethics around the world. This past May the company posted they saw a 48% increase in revenue during the first half of 2022 earning £404 million in that period of time.

Since the announcement, their stock value dropped 3% today on the London Stock Exchange to a low of 1,646.83.
