Atari To Acquire Nightdive Studios

Atari have announced they are acquiring 100% of the video game publisher and developer Nightdive Studios.

Wade Rosen, Chairman and CEO of Atari, said in a press release:

“Nightdive’s proven expertise and successful track record in commercializing retro IP is well-aligned with Atari’s strategy and I am confident that their combined talent, technology and IP portfolio will contribute to Atari’s future success.”

Founded in 2012, Nightdive Studios have primarily acted as publishers for several remasters and enhanced ports including Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Quake, Doom 64, and Shadow Man: Remastered. The company are also currently developing the upcoming System Shock game.
