Unity Hit With More Layoffs

As reported by the Wall Street Journal, Unit have laid off an additional 600 employees or 8% of their global staff.

This isn’t the first round of layoffs the company have made this year as back in January they laid off 248 employees. It also sadly doesn’t appear to be the last as Unity Chief Executive John Riccitiello said they are looking to lower their carbon footprint by going down from 58 offices worldwide to around 30. Telling the Wall Street Journal:

“It’s all about setting ourselves up for higher growth.”
