Tony Hawk Says He Would Like To See His Games Remastered

While it may not have been the first skating game, the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater franchise was dominated throughout the late 90s and 2000s. There is so much love and nostalgia for the franchise that it would make sense why there is tons of demand for the original games to be remastered. This even led Tony Hawk himself to address the question.

Tony Hawk revealed today via Twitter that he would love to see it, but Activision owns the license and is no longer working with them.

The only remake was Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD which released back in 2012 and included levels from the first 3 THPS games (THPS3 levels via download). The biggest complaint was the removal of half the original soundtrack due to licensing.
