Big news out of Thailand as Nexon have acquired the Thailand-based publisher iDCC.
Nexon had purchased 41% stake in the company in late 2016 and with the Thailand government’s approval purchased the other 51% equity stake. iDCC will now be renamed Nexon Thailand is handle Nexon’s business in Southeast Asia.
Terry Noh, COO of Nexon Thailand stated the following..
“We see an immense growth opportunity in the game market in Southeast Asia, especially in mobile, which is why we originally invested in iDCC.
“We plan to make Thailand a publishing hub for the entire region and will support local developers to expand their content worldwide.”
