Alchemist Files For Bankruptcy


Sad news to report as video game publisher Alchemist filed for bankruptcy in the Sapporo court on April 1.

Alchemist started in 1991 under the name Bay Crystal and didn’t get into gaming until 2002 when they ported the Japanese game Kimi ga Nozumi Eien to the Sega Dreamcast. Alchemist were most famous for publishing games such as Baldr Force EXE, Umienko, Aria the Natural, and Gal Gun.
