Sonic The Hedgehog Leaving Xbox Live Arcade And Virtual Console

Famitsu has reported that Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will both be removed from Xbox Live Arcade and the Wii Virtual Console on October 30.

Sega has not revealed if this will also take place in Europe and North America at this time, nor if players will have tha ability to redownload them.

We do know that this will not effect the 3D Classics version available on 3DS as they will stay available on Nintendo’s eShop.
