A rumor has started to make its way around the Halo community after Twitter user Klobrille said that Halo Infinite will not have a battle royale mode, but something called “Big Team Battle 2.0.” This mode is rumored to have incoming pelican drops, enhanced vehicular combat, and squad spawning.
Some has showed how similar this idea is to the cut Global Battle mode that was originally planned for Halo Reach, but was cut due to hardware restraints.
While it might be easy to dismiss this rumor, but Klobrille has been correct about Halo content in the passed including grapple hook being in Halo Infinite as well as split multiplayer modes.
