There are gamers in America that have noted on forums such as NeoGAF that GameStop wants feedback on a program titled GameStop Summer Gaming Pass.
According to those who received the e-mail, you would pay $99.99 and be allowed to take any pre-owned game from the platform of your choice and play it for as long as you want, or trade it in for another game at any time. The program would run from June to August and when the promotion ends you would be allowed to keep the game as their way of saying “Thanks for being a loyal GameStop gamer.”
This could potentially mean GameStop wants to compete with the likes of Xbox Pass and Playstation Now. Please keep in mind this is part of a survey done by GameStop and this plan has not officially been announced.
