Puyo Puyo Creator Creates New Company

Masamitsu Niitani, Founder of Compile and creator of Puyo Puyo, has announced he has created a new company called Compile-O.

In a blog post, Niitani revealed the company’s first game will be a falling object puzzle game called Nyokinyoki. Niitani is confident that Nyokinyoki will essentially be a third generation Tetris.

The current plan is to release the game on PC as well as some other mobile systems.
