Pro Skies Dies While Filming Commercial For Ubisoft’s Steep

Pro skier Matilda Rapaport has died after spending four days in the hospital.

Rapaport was rushed to a hospital in Santiago Chile where she was shooting a commercial for Ubisoft’s upcoming game Steep. While being filmed by a helicopter, an avalanche accord while she was skiing down a mountain and was trapped under the snow. She was later rushed to the hospital with serious injuries and had to be put into a coma where she eventually died.

Rapaport was only 30 years old.
