In a new Q&A session at the 2026 Nintendo shareholders’ meeting Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa revealed that employees saw a base salary increase of 10%.
When a shareholder asked how employee returns are handled, Furukawa replied:
We are maintaining salaries at an appropriate level. I believe it is important to keep compensation levels appropriate. We are implementing salary increases, such as raising the base salary by 10%.
