Naughty Dog Reveals Why Golden Abyss Isn’t Included In The Uncharted Collection


As many Uncharted fans have noted, The Uncharted game for the PS Vita called the Golden Abyss will not be included in the Uncharted Collection. Many were hoping that it would be included, but never know why it wasn’t. Now Naughty Dog’s Community Strategist Arne Meyer revealed over the weekend at EGX convention why it wasn’t included.

Meyer told Power Up Gaming that it was “definitely under consideration”, but was ultimately decided to just include the 3 games that were made for Playstation 3. Stating…

“We realized that those three games–the trilogy–actually provided a particular narrative arc that led into Uncharted 4. We wanted to keep that as a holistic collection for that reason, and Golden Abyss kind of lives a little bit outside of that.”

The Uncharted Collection will be released for Playstation 4 on October 8.
