NASCAR Reportedly Looking To Get Out Of Contract With Motorsports Games

According to multiple sources for freelance journalist Mike Straw, NASCAR are looking to get out of their exclusivity contract with video game developers Motorsports Games.

It’s being discussed that the higher ups within NASCAR are looking to move over to a different developer and/or publisher in large part due to the negative reviews from both fans and critics related to their most recently installment NASCAR 21: Ignition. The title currently have “Mostly Negative” reviews on Steam and a 6.6 user score on Metacritic. All of this despite the game receiving many updates and DLC since it launched back in October 2021.
