Monster Hunter X Sells 1.5 Million Copies In 2 Days

Japanese magazine Famitsu have revealed that Capcom’s latest installment in the Monster Hunter, Monster Hunter X, has sold 1.5 million copies within the first 48 hours of release. This number includes digital cards, retail copies, and Monster Hunter X Special Packs.

This number landed Monster Hunter X at the 4th position among best-selling 3DS games for the week. Both the 2nd and 3rd place games are both Monster Hunter games as well (Monster Hunter 4 and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate). The best-selling game of the week ending on November 29 was Pokemon X and Y with 2,096,050 copies sold.
