Capcom announced today that Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has been shipped worldwide over 4 million copies.
According to the press release, the series has grown a lot since the first Monster Hunter game was released back in 2004. So far, the Monster Hunter series has sold over 33 million copies in total. The number is expected to grow even further as Capcom plans on releasing Monster Hunter X on November 28 in Japan and Monster Hunter Stories next year on Nintendo 3DS.
