MapleStory 2’s Latest Korean Server Update Gets Pets

Nexon has released an update to the Korean servers of their MMO MapleStory 2 that adds a pet system.

There are currently only 3 pets to choose from; a dragon, dog, or penguin. The pets add speed boosts, can revive your character, pick up items, and add five points to physical and magical attack.

Another addition is a new high-level dungeon with a final boss named Barkhant the “God of Darkness”. Players will be required to be at least level 50 and is a 10-person dungeon.
