Jin Fujisawa Leaves Square Enix

Sad news for Dragon Quest fans as Jin Fujisawa, director of Dragon Quest IX and Dragon Quest X Online, announced he has left Square Enix.

Funjisawa has been with the company since 2000 where he worked as a Scenario Assistant on Dragon Quest VII; His most recent role with the company was as the Project Supervisor for the smartphone game Pro Yakyuu ga Suki da! 2017.

So what is next for Fujisawa? He is currently working at a new company and hopes to be able to share more information soon.
