Intellivision CEO Releases Update Regarding Company And Amico Console

The continuation of the roller coaster ride that is the Intellivision Amico had received another piece to the tracking as Intellivision Entertainment CEO Phil Adams has released an update regarding the company an the Amico console.

In this update, Adams acknowledges that the StartEngine crowdfunding effort was shut down at their request due to them not having “better visibility of our path to profitability” and everyone who has contributed to the campaign has received a full refund.

Adams also noted that spending within the company got way out of control and to solve this issue had to make a significant reduction in staff. This would likely be the reason why we have seen so many employees leave within the past couple of months.

A “test production run” of Amicos have also started in order to show investors and retailers that the product does actually exist as many over the years have felt this venture has been a scam. The company will then focus on mass production on fulfilling pre-orders and supplying their major distribution partners.
