H2K Threatens To Leave EU LCS After 2017

In a letter to fans from board co-chairman of H2K Richard Lippe, and CEO Susan Tully, the organization expressed their concerns in regards to the EU LCS and have threatened to leave the league unless Riot makes some changes.

Tully and Lippe stated..

“H2K ownership has made the decision that we will no longer financially subsidize Riot and will not continue in the EU LCS beyond the 2017 season unless Riot creates a new financial and operating structure.”

“H2K ownership and management very much wish to continue in the EU LCS. We have been patient partners with Riot and they are fully aware of our concerns which have been discussed for many months. We now look to Riot to make the changes dictated by fairness and common sense.”

The changes they are asking for is for Riot Games to provide some financial stability to each team in the EU LCS. They’re specifically talking about revenue sharing which is what teams in the NA LCS will benefit from starting next year.
