Game Capture Will Not Be Allowed To Stream PC Version Of Destiny 2

According to the latest This Week at Bungie blog post, Bungie’s Communications Manager Cozmo revealed thatdue to the need to “resist attempts from applications to add code to Destiny,” certain livestreaming will not work in order to prevent cheaters from accessing the code.

This means that Game Capture on XSplit and OBS will not work as well as voice communication overlays like in Discord. Hardware monitoring software, such as framerate and statistics overlays in Fraps, also will not work.

The blog states..

“As always, we’re standing by on our Help forum to answer your questions. Sorry in advance if these precautions interfere with the way you like to configure your PC when you play. Wherever possible, we’re committed to doing our best to provide information you need to make adjustments on your end. Our hope is that we can all agree that keeping the world of the game safe is a mission we all share.”

In order to stream it on PC, you can use capture cards, as well as window capture and screen capture in OBS and XSplit.
