Final Fantasy VII Remake Using Unreal Engine 4

FinalFantasyVIIRemake

More details have released regarding the remake of one of the most famous JRPGs of all time Final Fantasy VII. Square-Enix will not be using their Luminous engine and instead will be using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine 4.

Of course this isn’t the only game they are using this engine on as they also dropped their use of Luminous for Unreal Engine 4 for Kingdom Hearts III as well as Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. Other games in development using the same engine include Tekken 7, Street Fighter V, Fable Legends, and Shenmue III.
