Demon’s Souls To Have Online Services Shut Down In Japan

Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia have announced that on February 28 at 17:00 JST, they will be shutting down the online services for Demon’s Souls in Japan.

This means that the following will no longer be available after this time…

  • Online multiplayer (co-op and invasions)
  • Writing and reading hint messages
  • Other players’ bloodstaines (death replays)
  • Wandering phantoms
  • Browsing the rankings

In Europe and North America, the servers are handled by Atlus. Atlus have not announced any plans to shut down the services in these regions.
