It seems that Codemasters have finally started development on a new WRC video game. This comes after someone noticed a listing on Kyle Roberton’s official website where he notes in his Ludography that he worked as the Associate Gameplay Designer for a new WRC game from September 21-December 21.
This could indicate that production is still very early in development as prior to this he spent time as the Associate Gameplay Designer for GRID Legends up until September 2021 as well. However, it could also be that he was just moved over to help with the development once GRID Legends was finished.
Codemasters took over development of the WRC racing series from French studio Kyletonn last year.
