Bobby Kotick Reportedly Considered Purchasing PC Gamer and Kotaku

In one of the most interesting things involving Bobby Kotick that doesn’t involve alleged coverups, sources for The Wall Street Journal revealed considered purchasing a video game new publication with two outlets specifically mentioned being PC Gamer and Kotaku.

The sources suggest that Kotick wanted to do it because they“eager to change the public narrative about the company.” This would essentially have seen one of these outlets being purchased and essentially turned into a propaganda tool by Activision Blizzard.

While no exact timeline is known about when this conversation took place, it’s said that it “in recent weeks.” Ironically, Kotaku made an April Fools Joke back in 2010 where they acted they were purchased by Activision and renamed “Koticku.”
