AMD has introduced its new A8-7670K APU which is being billed as an “affordable APU that combines the energy efficient processing power of an AMD CPU with the pixel pushing power of AMD Radeon graphics in one convenient package”. This new APU is the top-of-the-line APU in the A8 series with a comparison to Intel’s i3-4160 and Pentium G3258 processors. The A8-7670K has 10 compute cores in which 4 are Steamroller CPU cores clocked at 3.6 GHz and 6 GCN Radeon cores clocked to 757 MHz.
