Longzone Acquires Longzhu Gaming

Longzhu’s CEO “Plufriend” has announced that the organization has been acquired by Chinese company Longzone.

This comes after Longzhu TV found themselves in a conflict of interest after the organization was bought by Chinese company Suning Commerce Group. Suning Commerce Group also owned Suning Gaming who later qualified for the 2017 LPL Summer Split. This violates a rule in place by Riot Games that prohibits organizations from owning multiple teams in the major regional leagues.
