Huge news in the world of competitive Overwatch news as the Afreeca Freecs have disbanded their Overwatch team. The organization did not provide any information as to the reason why this decision was made. The 7-man roster will all enter free agency and will not compete within the organization in the upcoming OGN Overwatch OPEX.
This is considered a major surprise as the team is regarded as one of the best teams within South Korea. According to the rankings on Gosu Gamers, the Afreeca Freec are ranked 7th in China & Korea region and 11th in the world.
