Telltale Games announced via Twitter that Minecraft: Story Mode will be coming to Wii U. This is a humongous deal of many different levels. This will be the first time a Minecraft game has been released on a Nintendo system. This will also be the first time that the Minecraft franchise will be released on a different platform after Microsoft’s acquisition a few months ago.
It’s still up in the air if the original Minecraft game will be released on Wii U or 3DS, but this is still a step in the right direction for it to happen in the near future.
Minecraft: Story Mode will also be released on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Mac, iOS, and Android.
