Project Giant Robot Cancelled

Polygon has confirmed that Shigeru Miyamoto’s pet project Project Giant Robot has officially been cancelled. The project wasn’t mentioned during Nintendo’s latest earnings report and the company noted that there would not be any more Wii U games after The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Nintendo told Polygon the project was cancelled “after considering our overall product and development strategy.”
