Rumor: Switch To Support 128GB Micro SDXC Cards

nintendoswitch

Reports have surfaced by Digital Spy that Nintendo’s upcoming Switch console/handheld hybrid could support Micro SDXC cards up to 128GB in size. For comparison, the 3DS XL can hold up to 32GB cards. Nintendo will also not support external hard drives. This is likely due to not wanting to limit the portability. If true, this will require gamers to save every time they disconnect while switching from TV to portable and wait to sync games.

Lastly, Switch will not have a proprietary table. Instead they will be using a standard USB-C cable to counter the short battery life. The draw back to this is charging dock is located underneath the kickstand. This means you can’t charge while the stand is up.
