Sony Has No Plans For Future Handheld System

In a recent sit down with Game Informer, Sony Interactive Entertainment President and CEO Jim Ryan revealed that the company do not have any plans for releasing a handheld system in the near future. Stating:

“PlayStation Vita was brilliant in many ways, and the actual gaming experience was great, but clearly it’s a business that we’re no longer in now.”

The Playstation Portable sold 80 million units worldwide while its successor the PS Vita sold only 16 million units.
