In a new video published by Camelot331, several Gamestop associates have accused several store managers along with their families and friends of pre-ordering all the Playstation 5 units GameStop had planned on receiving in order to scalp them on reselling sites such as Amazon and eBay.
Pre-orders were set to start on Thursday until district managers told associates that they could go ahead and sell pre-orders. This resulted in several GameStop associates pre-ordering purchasing more than one via fake names and cash to receive more than one.
While GameStop has not commented on the matter, it is unlikely they will do anything or find all of the pre-orders that were processed using fake names.
