It appears that Bandai Namco might be following in the footsteps on Nintendo as they have filed a trademark for Pac-Man Maker in Europe.
If this is the case, the game would allow everyone to create their own Pac-Man mazes and levels similar to Super Mario Maker. Bandai Namco have not commented on the trademark, but expect an announcement at E3 2017.
