Sony Changes Organization Structure

Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced they are making changes to their organizational structure. This is being done to reinforce the company’s business and operational strength going forward.

This will see sales and marketing divisions of SIEA, SIEE, and SIEJA report directly to deputy president Jim Ryan. President and CEO John Kodera and Jim Ryan will also assume the role of executive in charge of regions. Kodera will be responsible for the Americas and Japan Asia while Jim Ryan handles Europe. Atsushi Morita, the SIEJA President will report directly to Kodera to support management of cross-functional activities for Japan Asia. Hideaki Nishino will take the role of Head of Platform Planning and Management.

All of these changes will take effect on April 1.
