Companion App For The Division Nixed

Remember how a couple of years ago it was announced that there was going to be a companion app for Tom Clancy’s The Division for your phone that would allow you to control a drone? Well that idea has officially been nixed.

A rep from Massive confirmed to IGN today that the idea has been scrapped due to “creating an imbalance” that compromised the team-based competitive gameplay.
