The Division’s Player Count Drops 93%

According to Githyp, the player count of Tom Clancy’s The Division on PC has dropped 93%. The report notes that there were 2.1 million players at launch and as of yesterday were only 143,000 players online.

There are many possible factors into why this number has dropped so much. One reason that many have noted to have contributed is due to the amount of exploits the PC version has compared to consoles. Another notable reason is due to the release of Overwatch which has seen a steady increase in players since release.
