AtGames Claims Sega Genesis FlashBack Review Units Were Faulty

The Sega Genesis Flashback units have received extremely negative from numerous media outlets. The reviews are so bad that AtGames, the makers of the units, have had to issue statements in regards to the complaints. AtGames said to Kotaku..

 

“A batch of our review units were accidentally shipped out with early software builds that do not represent the final version.We are working to get updated and correct final products in the hands of reviewers in the coming weeks.”

Some of the complaints the unit has received includes terrible sounds in relation to music, subpar animation quality, missing frames, input lag with controllers, and the amount of “bootleg” games.
