Blizzard removed the Capture The Flag mode in order to add the 6v6 Lockout Elimination Mode, however loads of players weren’t exactly happy to see it go.
This had led Overwatch Director Jeff Kaplan to confirm that the mode would be returning, and that Blizzard is working on improvements for the gametype. While he wouldn’t go into detail, he did mention that one of the key adjustments are draws, which was a large complaint among gamers.
Kapaln did not mention a timeline for the return, but it will take a while.
