Riot Games has revealed that a staggering 334 million viewers from all around the world tuned into livestreams over the 4 weeks that the League of Legends World Championships took place. This number is a huge increase as last year’s championships drew 288 million viewers.
According to the data, the World Championship averaged around 4.2 million viewers at the same time with the finals between Koo Tigers and SKT receiving 14 million concurrent viewers with a total amount of viewers reaching 26 million of the course of the finals.
