Red Hook Games has announced that their turn-based RPG Darkest Dungeon now has an official release date. According to the studio, the full game will be released on January 19, 2016.
The game has been available on Steam via Early Access since February. Red Hook Games had originally planned on releasing the game around Halloween, but unfortunately they have been hit with a few delays. They noted that they will have the game completed before the January 19 release date, but since they do not want to compete with all the AAA titles being released this holiday, they will instead be spending that time to polish and fine tune the game instead.
